Ralph Silva is a theoretical physicist and former Senior Scientist at ETH Zürich, where he spent six years designing and teaching a postgraduate course in quantum information theory while supervising Master’s students and conducting cutting-edge research. Before ETH, he held a postdoctoral research position at the University of Geneva. He holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics from the University of Bristol and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. A Gold Medallist at the International Mathematical Olympiad (Beijing, 2005) and winner of the Annales Henri Poincaré Prize (2019), Ralph brings exceptional academic credentials and a genuine passion for making complex ideas accessible. He teaches Physics and Mathematics from high school through to university level, with a particular strength in helping students build deep conceptual understanding. Native in English, with intermediate German and beginner French.
