Alex is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Physics, specializing in the Physics of Financial Networks, at University College London. He holds a four-year MSc in Physics and a five-year PhD in Mathematics, both from the University of Bristol (2007–2017).
Tutoring part-time on weekday afternoons and evenings, Alex has extensive experience supporting students in their GCSEs, A-Levels, and IB in Maths, Further Maths, and Physics. He typically works with students through one or two weekly lessons and assists with university applications. He is also highly experienced in preparing students for university entrance exams, including the MAT, PAT, ESAT, TMUA, and STEP.
In addition to his tutoring experience, Alex served as Team Guide for Malaysia at the International Mathematical Olympiad in Bath, UK, in 2024.
