Corentin Briat is an experienced educator, engineer, and researcher with a PhD in Applied Mathematics from the Grenoble Institute of Technology. With a strong background in teaching, tutoring, and mentoring, he has worked extensively across disciplines including mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, biology, and computer programming.
Corentin spent over a decade as a Senior Scientist and Lecturer at ETH Zurich, where he conducted research in mathematics and data science for the life sciences while teaching and supervising Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students. He is currently a Senior Scientist and Lecturer at FHNW, where he continues his research and teaching in computational methods for the life sciences. Since 2023, he has been tutoring students online at both IB and university levels, providing support in subjects such as mathematics, data science, statistics, physics, and engineering.
He holds both a PhD and a Master’s degree in engineering from Grenoble Institute of Technology. Fluent in French and English, with conversational German, Corentin is dedicated to adapting his teaching methods to meet the unique needs of his students.
Outside of academics, he enjoys cooking, mathematics, and traveling.
